On behalf of the Board of Trustees, Management, Associates and Staff of the Women’s Health and Action Research Centre (WHARC), I am delighted to present the 12th volume of the Women’s Health Forum 2012, the official newsletter of WHARC. Our first issue was in 1998, three years after the founding of WHARC, but we have taken your inputs to serve you even better.
No doubt, the past year has seen momentous events at the Women’s Health and Action Research Centre. A variety of activities, programs, documentations, research and service delivery in sexual and reproductive health were carried out during the period, all geared towards promoting the health and social wellbeing of women and adolescents in Africa. This issue reports these activities and related programmatic interventions.
