The permanent site of the Women's Health and Action Research Centre (WHARC) is an ultra-modern edifice, and has several facilities that are available for use by the general public at affordable prices. The Centre has it's own transformer, a 100-KVA generator and a V-SAT that provides wireless internet.
Facilities available include a modern Women's Health Clinic, Business Centre, Conference and Seminar rooms. Reproductive Health Library, Journal Marketing Department, and Outdoor Catering Services. All facilities are ideal for use by the general public, corporate organizations, civil society orgaiazations, development partners and academia for social activities, training workshops, seminars and business meetings.

The Clinic Unit also known as “The Abel Guobadia Clinic” is made up of Consultants, Medical officers, Nurses, Laboratory Technicians, Students on Industrial Training and a Secretary.

The Centre has a library / documentation Unit that contains books, journals, and non-book materials for use in reproductive health research, and others activities. The unit keeps books, journals, recorded tapes, videos, photographs, monographs and, IEC materials on reproductive health from various sources. The unit also keeps recorded information of all activities of the centre.
The library provides access to information that researchers and policy makers need to enable them to work productively, cost-effectively. The unit subscribes to local and international journal, books and CD-ROM materials, which are received from time to time, thereby ensuring that very current reproductive health information are available at all times.

The most recent editions of journals and periodicals are keept conspicuously on special display shelves for users awareness’ and easy reference.
Registration for use of the library attracts a service charge of two hundred naira (NGN 200:00) only which enables the users to gain access to the library and to borrow books. Internet access, photocoping & typing are also readily and easily accessible within the complex as well.
